2 1/2 cups HOMESTEAD CORNMEAL
1/2 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1 t salt
2 large eggs
2 T melted butter
2 cups buttermilk
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°.
Pour a little bit of oil into a 12″ cast-iron skillet. Heat the skillet in the oven.
Mix the dry ingredients together.
In a separate bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients, add to the dry ingredients and mix.
Pour into hot skillet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
